SAS Scholarships

Scholarships are available to full-time students in the final year of a master’s or doctorate degree program in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. The scholarship program is administered by SAC (Speech-Language and Audiology Canada).

Through our partnership and letter of understanding, a total of 17 scholarships are awarded annually.

– The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children Susan Lane Scholarship ($2,000) is awarded to a student based on general selection criteria plus involvement in one of the current Elks on-going clinical programs (BC Family Hearing Resource Centre, ISTAR, SPARC, etc.)

– The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children Deborah Kully Scholarship ($2,000) is awarded to a student based on general selection criteria plus involvement in one of the current Elks on-going clinical programs (BC Family Hearing Resource Centre, ISTAR, SPARC, etc.)

– The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children William J Blake Scholarship ($2,000) is awarded to a student based on general selection criteria plus who is a member (or relative) of the Elks of Canada.

– Fourteen Elks and Royal Purple Gordon Leslie Memorial Scholarships ($1,000 each) are awarded to students based on general selection criteria.

The Elks of Canada have long been associated with and recognized for their dedication and generous contributions in supporting communication-related professions.
