Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Scholarships
- Up to 20 scholarships of $500.
- Awarded annually to qualified nominees currently in Grade 11.
Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Scholarships
- Up to six scholarships of $1000
- Awarded annually to qualified nominees currently in Grade 12 and intending to attend a post-secondary institution.
Scholarship Nomination Criteria – A selection committee will review all nominations received and will select qualified winners for both scholarships based on the following criteria:
- Responsibilities outside of school
- Financial support needed
- Academic performance
Scholarship Nomination Submission Requirements – Each scholarship applicant submission must be completeand include the following:
- A completed nomination form
- A letter of nomination from school leadership team
- A student portfolio

National Union of Public and General Employees (SGEU)
Each year, the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) offers four scholarships that reflect its pursuit of equal opportunity for all workers. They are open to the children, grandchildren or foster children of the National Union’s 340,000 members who are starting a post-secondary education. Some scholarships may have additional requirements, as noted below.

1. Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship – $5,000 – 5 Awards (Deadline: January 15, 2016)
Student Eligibility: Competition open to all high school seniors who are U. S. citizens and are planning careers of service to the United States in local, state, or federal government. All awards are for one year.

2. Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards – $4,000 – 250 Awards (Deadline: January 29, 2016)
Student Eligibility: For the 2016 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2013, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2013, is eligible to apply. The applicant must be a high school senior.

3. Courageous Persuaders Scholarship – $3,000 – 14 Awards (Deadline: February 11, 2016)
Student Eligibility: Compete for scholarship dollars and a chance to air a commercial on TV. Create a 30-second commercial to warn middle school students about the dangers of underage drinking or the dangers of texting while driving. Students can enter separate videos in both categories. The competition is open to high school students in grades 9-12.

||Minimum 70% average, must answer 2 essay questions on “leaders of change”, can also apply for a Me to We Trip.
||Stacey Levitt Memorial Award

||Applicants must submit a short essay on living life to the fullest, helping others, etc. Letter of recommendation required.
||RBC Royal Bank Scholarship for Aboriginals
||10 x $4000
||For status and non-status Indians, Inuit or Metis pursuing post-secondary education
||Canadian Welding Association Foundation Award
||20-25 x $2000-$2500
||For students who are applying into a welding program and for students enrolled in the first period of a welding program.
||Joseph G. Doria Exemplary Student Award
||1 x $3000
||Must display academic excellence, passion for welding and community involvement. Must be entering a full-time welding program.

||Canadian Association of Principals Student Leadership

||One grade 12 student per school may be nominated by the school administrator. Based on leadership activities in the school and community and on academic achievement. Each nominee must complete the questionnaire and essay.

||Campion College (Arts/Science Student) and University of Regina. Graduating grade 12 this year and plan on attending the U of R next year. There are over 15 scholarships you can apply.
