Grade 11 students contemplating attending a university after graduation will want to attend the U of R’s Grade 11 University Preview on Friday, February 22, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to participate in a lab, mock lecture and student success workshop. Students will also tour the campus, and participate in an evening activity. Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot Training Program

Become a Canadian Armed Forces pilot and earn a Seneca College Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology.

Seneca College, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), has created the best program to put academics into action.

If selected by the RCAF as part of this unique four year program you will attend flying training as part of the RCAF Pilot training program and be automatically registered to start your academics at Seneca College following initial flight qualification (year 2).  Talk to a Canadian Armed Forces Recruiter nearest you for further details or the forces.ca website.

Each year CEMF offers a number of Graduate and Undergraduate Engineering Ambassador Awards to young women across Canada who are proven leaders, active volunteers in their communities and mentors to other young women to encourage them to follow an engineering path.

John Evans, P.Eng was a Director and Vice-President of the Foundation, a committed supporter of women in engineering and a CEMF scholarship judge. His legacy included a donation for an award to be made to a young Canadian woman entering an accredited engineering program in Canada from high school and it is not based on academic achievement. This $5,000 award also includes an engineering work placement opportunity with Fortis Inc. at one of their Canadian utilities.
