Welding Applied Certificate

Do you want to prepare yourself for a career in welding?  This 20 week enhanced program is based on Level 1 Apprenticeship Training.  Once you become an apprentice, graduates of the program can apply to SK Apprenticeship and Trade Commission for credit for Level 1 Welding Training.

Course Dates:  January 16, 2017 – June 2, 2017

Forum for Young Canadians has been Canada’s premiere non-partisan, bilingual civics education program for four decades.  Well over 300 participants from across Canada will have the opportunity to go to Ottawa and meet with Senators, Members of Parliament, senior public servants, members of the national media and business leaders.  It is amazing opportunity for students to become more engaged in our political process as they examine the issues that affect our country during a week of exciting activities and simulations.

One Scholarship Endless Opportunities 
Receive up to $10 000 for post-secondary studies

Eligibility:

  • Full-time student in high school graduating this year and planning on attending post-secondary
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a degree at a post-secondary institution/three year vocational program at college or a two year program followed by a university degree.
  • Demonstrate critical financial need ($55 000 or less annual net income per family)
  • Be involved in co-curricular and community activities
  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • Maintain a minimum grade percentage of 65
  • Attend a high school and reside in Canada
  • Be Canadian citizen
