ScholarshipAll of us at 7BinaryOptions.com are dedicated to helping people succeed financially and we also know the importance of education. As part of that we want to help next generation students to be financially more independent as well. Understanding the importance of a quality education, 7BinaryOptions.com created a scholarship meant to enable students to better focus on their academic development and career goals during their studies.

Every student has now the opportunity to apply for the $3000 annual scholarship to be paid toward tuition for the upcoming semester by attending 7BinaryOptions.com Essay Contest.

UPDATE Jan 2. 2019: The winner of 2018 scholarship has been chosen and notified via email. Congratulations! You can now apply for the 2020 scholarship essay contest.

Who is Eligible?

All students who are 16 years of age or older are encouraged to apply for our scholarship essay contest. High school students, undergraduate students, master degree students and adult learners are all also encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Topic

To enter our 2020 scholarship, you will need to write an essay with the title: “The Goals I Will Achieve in 10 Years.”

The style does not necessarily need to be in an academic style – you can be creative and use your own style and imagination.

Essay Requirements:

– The essay length should be 700-1500 words
– Be concise and creative
– The essay must be original

Once awarded, a check will be written to the winner’s enrolled school and credited for academic expenses.

All applications must be sent to: scholarship ( at ) 7binaryoptions . com before December 15th, 2020 with the title “Scholarship Essay Contest”.

The winner will be selected during January 2020 and the winner will be notified personally via email.

U of R Accelerated Program

  • The University of Regina’s Accelerated Program is a great opportunity for grade 12 students to take a university class such as English 100, Art 220 and Math 110, lessening their course load in their first year at university.

The Government of Canada’s Financial Literacy blog has put out a great post on A new financial
adventure: Managing money in college or university.

This entry includes tips on budgeting and includes a budgeting worksheet, budget calculator, credit card comparison tool, and information on various forms of educational funding in Canada.


Stacey Levitt Award

Living a Long Life to the Fullest
Stacey was a high school student in Toronto who was accidentally killed by a car while out jogging. In her memory, Stacey’s parents created an annual $2500 award for a student who emulates the spirit and ideals that their daughter had before her tragic passing.

Open: to anyone currently attending a Canadian secondary school

Process: application form, letter of recommendation and a short two page essay addressing specific questions

Kin Canada Bursaries Hal Rogers Endowment Fund

Eligibility

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be a full-time student in the process of graduating from high school or currently studying or registered at a post-secondary institution.
  • Must complete the current application form and submit it to the Kinsmen, Kinette or Kin Club closest to their permanent residence by February 1. Bursary winners are notified before June 30 by their sponsoring club.
  • Must not have previouly been awarded a Kin Canada Bursary.
  • Will be evaluated on their community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need.

Application Process

The bursary application deadline date is February 1 of each year. You must drop it off in January to a local Kinsmen Member. The earlier the better! They then follow their own process.

  • Read and follow all instructions carefully
  • Answer all questions
  • Remember, scoring is based on both effort and content
  • Ask for input from friends, parents, teachers, etc.
  • Learn about Kin Canada from our website
  • Research what the local or nearest Kinsmen, Kinette or Kin Club has done in your community
  • Submit your application form to your local club by February 1 and only submit to one club
