CIVIC LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

Award amount: $10,000

Awarding students who have demonstrated academic success, personal strength, and determination in their commitment to civic engagement and leadership.

 

INDIGENOUS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Award amount: $10,000

Awarding First Nation, Métis and Inuit student leaders who have demonstrated academic success, personal strength, and a commitment to preserving Indigenous languages and culture.

 

Nelson Education’s mission is to enable the success of Canadian students. We recognize students who are committed to continued civic engagement and leadership. If you are one of these leaders, you have an opportunity to receive one of three $5000 scholarships!

All Applicants

  • Completed online application form
  • 500–750 word essay detailing your civic leadership activities
  • Minimum 75% average in final year of high school
  • A reference letter from a high school teacher

Finalists

  • High school transcripts
  • An additional reference letter from someone in your community
  • Letter of acceptance to a Canadian post-secondary program of study

Scholarship Recipients

  • Proof of tuition payment (first installment)

The Prairie Healthcare Scholarship

The Prairie Healthcare Scholarship offers anyone studying in a healthcare-related field, who is originally from Saskatchewan, the chance to apply for financial assistance. Priority will be given to residents of Southwest Saskatchewan.

Whether your aim is to study in the field of: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Social Work or any other healthcare-related fields, the McIntyre Family Foundation is here to support your dreams.

Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship

The Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship (SAS) provides eligible grade 12 graduates, including Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED® students, $500 per year, to a lifetime maximum of $2,000.
