Eligibility: currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years in length or greater, GPA of 3.0 or higher, US resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.
Essay Topic: Write an essay about a situation you have been involved in or someone you now has been involved in where better safety procedures would have prevented an injury. Explain in detail what safety procedures you believe should have been in place to prevent the injury and how they would have prevented the injury.

Summer Bridge Program is a program that will run from August 8-29.
It will give new students a chance to experience the University of Regina campus before the fall semester starts, and will give them an opportunity to develop their academic skills before taking on a full-load of classes. The program incorporates academics, university preparation, and social activities to prepare students to be successful at the University of Regina.
Veterinary Medicine for Teens
When: July 11-14
Students between the ages of 13 -16 will have hands-on experiences and learn about the various roles and responsibilities of Veterinary Medical Receptionists, Veterinary Technical Assistants, Animal Health Technologists, and Veterinarians. Students will also learn about basic animal first aid, assessments, animal behaviour and safety.
Students can get an early start on their university courses by taking the University of Saskatchewan‘s Computer Science Early Start Program from June 29 to August 18. Students will take one full course over 3 weeks in the summer, providing them with a full science credit. This program is open to students in Grade 11 and 12. The deadline to apply is June 1.
Student Loans provide great assistance to students when it comes to paying for their post-secondary education. The online student loan application for the 2017-2018 school year will be available in June. There are many scholarships available through student loans as well.
